Ithilien Ranger Hideouts are a type of structure added in Beta 22. They only spawn in Ithilien and are located underground.
The hideout houses several Rangers of Ithilien and an Ithilien Ranger captain who will let you hire units, provided you have enough alignment with Gondor.
Exterior
Hence its name, the Ithilien Ranger hideout is very discreet and difficult for the player to find. The only sign of the hideout from the exterior will be a hole in the ground.
If the player examines it, he/she will discover a ladder leading underground to a medium sized chamber.
Interior
The hideout is primarily composed of smooth stone with some lebethron wood planks encircling the room. Thatch flooring is found in patches on the ground and four regular torches provide illumination.
Since this is a hideout and not a residential home, the living conditions here are tolerable but far from luxurious. Four straw beds are provided for those needing rest. There is also a regular crafting table, a Gondorian crafting table, and a furnace.
