Did you actually manage to paste in over 7000 bytes of text into your signature in preferences? I tried pasting mine in recently but an error message told me there was a character limit (I think 1000 characters).
Also may I suggest the use of a template for your signature?
Yeah, I figured that out when I saw that he had to edit my edit to the Cerinrim page, which I had no idea would turn every use of the world god into nicholas cage. I got rid of the extension, as much as I'll miss it.
I'll probably be a little bit more active, but I don't know for sure. It also might take me a bit to get used to the changes in the past few updates, since I've been busy with other things and haven't been paying a whole lot of attention to the latest changes. I think that I'll have more time on my hands when summer comes.
It seems, that you messed the achievements page up with your edit. You removed a lot of achievements, that are still in the Mod. Please, next time, before removing, set all your alignment to Zero first, otherwise some of the achievements are suppressed.
Alright, well I told you I took some NPC images with Mineshot, so here they are:
I don't know how isometric you would call those. I wish there was a fast way to render a lot of those things isometrically from the mod file. Like a minecraft NPC renderer, that uses the mod file and outputs a whole bunch of backgroundless images in certain sizes of NPCs, armour, Blocks, etc. It would be really great. I do think that the spawner renders are isometric, in the actual game.
Really wish there was a way to get Lysurus in on this thread without posting on his wall. It is his department.
As far as taking an isometric image, that looks good. But, I do think it'd be best if we could find a way to render the mob image to look clean and perfect, like this image for The Player on the main MC wiki:
Yeah, that would be cool. For now, Lysurus' images look good enough. I'm planning on going to a 3D design class and learning about how 3 dimensions work in code. I might be able to design a tool like that and use it to create those nice renders. Meanwhile, you could try and figure out how they did them.
Now, I just want to say that I actually prefer the current infobox images to the MC wiki ones. First of all, the forward views better demonstrate the textures, and secondly, as they are actually photographed as living entities, they look more natural. This is different to blocks and structures which are nonmoving and look better in isometric rendering, which better shows off the full appearance of the subject. However, with NPC's the iso images give them too much of a sense of stillness IMO, and as I said before, their full appearance isn't as visible.
Look at the Invasion page. The biomes section is done and up to date. If you could use that data for the Factions section, that would be awesome. You'll see what I mean if you look, if it doesn't make sense yet.
Looking slick ... but the InvasionBiomes template makes me miss that huge table as it doesn't allow for easy comparison of adjacent biomes in one quick look. On the other hand, it does improve general layout. To he honest, as a user, I only use the biome pages to get info on them.
