Hey Edhelgwath, almost a year ago you messaged me on my wall to invite me to the textures discord. I didn't have discord at the time, nor did I have any interest in getting it, but I finally created an account (with the name Quin), and I'd like to join the discord. I haven't been able to dm you on discord, though, so I'm messaging you here.
has been compromised by someone who created multiple accounts only to give that thread kudo's in order to get it endorsed. We do not allow nor tolerate this and therefore I closed the thread and the kudo-accounts will all face an IP ban. You have the possibility to repost your original thread.
If you yourself are not responsible for the fake kudo-accounts, we are sorry for the inconvencience, but we cannot remove kudo's nor can we get much more information on accounts to verify their relationship with you, the original poster of ther thread. Consequently our best option is to close a compromised thread, ban all identified false accounts, and offer the original poster to repost their suggestion thread.
We hope you understand this and wish you good luck upon reposting your suggestion.
The Wood-men are in a close alliance with the Wood-elves, and their gear looks much alike, but where the Wood-elves' color scheme is more grey, olive green, and grey/brown, the Wood-men's is more warm browns, reds, oranges, and clover greens and a little lime.
This post is for the Wood-men of Mirkwood and many things concerning them.
The following biomes would be added:
Wooded Havens - Two safe hotspots on the Western section of Mirkwood where the Wood-men will spawn. Horses, elk, and sheep (lots and lots of sheep) will spawn here, along with the regular passive creatures. Spiders of Dol Guldur will spawn on the edges, and so can Dol Guldur orcs if an invasion is launched.
A number of new items would be added.
Wood-man Crafting Table - A necessary block for all of the following. Should be crafted with planks and Green-oak or Wood-man Beams on itself.
Wood-man Equipment - The Wood-men will have every tool in the game, (axe, pick, shovel, and hoe) with the fastest axe in the game (aside from mithril). They would have a Long-spear, a Battle-ax, a Glaive, a Sword, a Dagger, a Spear, and a Hammer.
Northman Equipment - See above
Wood-man Yew Bow and the Wood-man Compound-bow would also be crafted here. Yew would have the same process has blackroot, and with the yew sticks, a long-range, 9-damage bow would be made. The compound bow would have short range, but high damage.
Wood-man Armour - The standard armour of the Wood-men.
Northman Armour - See above
Wood-man Hunter Armour - A Wood-man equivalent of the Wood-elven Scout Armour, except with Jump Boost I instead of Speed II.
Wood-man Captain Helm - A special Helm crafted with a Wood-man Helm, a feather above it, and three silver ingots on the other three sides on the Wood-man Crafting Table.
Horn of Conquest - Works like any other Horn of Conquest.
A Banner with a clover green background with orange trimming and with two crossed Woodmen Battle-axes behind a brown tree with red leaves.
Northman Brick, a darker version of the vanilla Minecraft stone brick. It also has cracked, mossy, and pillar variants.
Wood-man Beams - Like the Rohirric beams, these are faction based and will be crafted with and used interchangeably in buildings with the Green-oak beams
The Wooded Havens would get the following NPCs:
Wood-men - Wood-men who spawn in the Wooded Havens.
Northman - See above
Lumberjacks - Wood-man who work like Farm-hands, but they chop down trees for you instead.
Wood-man Hunter - Wood-men with Hunter Armour and Wood-men Battle-axes which they might exchange for either a bow or throwing axe when at a range. They will occasionally spawn with 1-3 tamed wolves for back-up, and might also be hired with wolves, though it is completely random.
Wood-man Warriors - Wood-men with Wood-man Warrior Armour and melee Wood-men weaponry.
Northman Warriors - See above
Wood-man Archers - Wood-men with Compound Bows which they will exchange for either Throwing-axes or Daggers when at a melee range.
Northman Archers - See above, but they use a Yew Bow instead
Northman Cavalry - A mounted version of the Northman Warriors
Northman Cavalry Archers - A mounted version of the Northman Archers
Wood-man Banner Bearer - A Wood-man Warrior with a Banner. As any other Banner Bearer.
Northman Banner Bearer - See above
Head Lumberjack - The unit you hire Lumberjacks from.
Wood-man Captains - The unit you hire troops from
Northman Captains - See above.

Northman Merchant - See above. May travel together on some occasions.
Wood-man Trader - A trader who's variants include Lumber Trader and Food Trader.
Northman Trader - See above
The following structures would now generate in the Morgul Vale.
Wood-men Fortress - These Fortresses would have several sizes. They would all have thick walls with a two block thick beam wall. They also have a Northman variant.
Houses - Structures with a Wood-men brick floor and with the first block level of the wall made of Wood-men brick but with the rest made of Mirk-oak beams and a loped roof.
Trader Stalls - Small shacks with a Wood-men or Northman traders in them.
Fire-pit - 3x3 campfires, complete with cut logs for benches, a chest, and a logpile.
Mess-tent - Large rooms made out of Mirk-oak beams, containing a table with seats and food/drink for the Wood-men. There would be barrels, furnaces, and chests along the walls.
Wood-men Tower - A small stubby variant of the Wood-elven Tower. These towers would be made of a little Wood-man Brick, but mostly wood-beams(green-oak) in the same style as Wood-elven Towers, and with weapon racks to display two random melee weapons. Wood-men Captains would spawn at the top, and variants of the troops will spawn all around the tower. They also have a Northman variant.
Wood-man House - See above.
Wood-men Stables - Stables made of Wood-men brick and mirk-oak beams. Loot chests, horses, and a few Wood-men Warriors/Archers would spawn here.

[Captain of the Woods] - Equip a Wood-man Captain Helm.
Kudos, textures, and critiscism welcome, have fun and enjoy!
There are templates for the crafting tables, and furnaces, and forges, and other things, but there are none for any of the pouches or double chests, which I think would be handy if anyone was making a guide to a gameplay role. Or if they were making a guide to their server.
My friends and I are making a private server for just us foursome, (their usernames are TheNiteShadow, JohnDaSuperCoolDude, and Lord_WitherBane) and we want to use the plugin that allows us to make pouches, Enchantment Tables, Chainmail Armour, etc. If the plugin is for the It's a HARDA world! server only, then we are good with that and TheNiteShadow will code one himself, or if the recipes are in command blocks, please give me the commands so I can put them in command blocks.
My name is Edhelgwath Shade-elf. I am a Wood-elven Assassin. I keep a watch over the Green-wood, and the surrounding land. I was born in the Dawn of Middle-earth, when Eru made the elves, and have lived to see many things. To orcs, I show no mercy, of any kind whatsoever. My favored weapons are Wood-elven Battlestaves and Spears which I keep extremely sharp, and High Elven longbows. (Maybe with a retexture for my character). I use armour made out of elven-steel, securing my lively hood. When I came into this world, I knew little, but that knowledge grew, allowing me to imbue my weaponry with enchantments. I became friends with the Ents of a realm much like the one I have now chosen, but I must be with my people. Because of this friendship, they have gifted me with the ability to also brew Ent-drought in my fortress in the Greenwood. The threat of orcs is growing by the day, and an old fortress named Dol Guldur is eminating a foul stench... I march to war!
Though I do live near the Wood-elves, I do not belong to their faction. I live just a little ways north of the Dol Guldur biome in a small area big enough for a capital and four fortresses in the corners of the biome. There are a two or three or ten ents wandering the whole biome, along with some Wood-elf Scouts, and a Wood-elf Captain. There are also a few herds of Elk. (Requesting Custom Faction: Assassins of Eryn Lasgalen, a sub-faction of the Woodland Realm) While this faction is not entirely lore-based, there are several mentions of Woodmen in the Greenwood, and Radagast certaintly has a connection to the trees.
My rank, Highking of the Assassins of Eryn Lasgalen, will give me Speed II and Jump Boost II when I fall to a certain level of health which will increase as I gain Wood-elven alignment, with the level starting at two hearts for 100, and expanding to half health with 1000.
If my abilities and faction are too over-powered, don't say no to me joining the server please. Just nerf a few things that you think need changing, and I will still be perfectly happy! :D
My Minecraft account says "Cannot resolve server hostname", so please give me the ip address and a name for the server. Forge is loaded, and the special mod version is downloaded and installed. I am logging in with Forge, 1.7.10
You created a page that is not supposed to be part of this wiki. As mentioned, you can use a blog page under your own name for this instead.
Mevans gets a lot of suggestions, but how does he sort through tham and categorize the ones he plans to implement? I am making this page to help Mevans with the mod, not to get myself banned. Admins, peeps with accounts, and fandom users, if you find posts that have not been shot down, please compile them into a bundle, and leave it in the comments section, helping Mevans to better code the mod. Please do not add a Beta 32/33/34 and whatnot above your posts, no matter how much you want to. That would be rude to Mevans, pretty much begging him to make that into the next update, which is not very nice. I want no pressure on Mevans. Below is my example of what you should write. Admins, please do not hit me with Grond for trying to help Mevans the Great. It would hurt. A lot. Please tell me if something like this is or is not allowed before banning me. I searched for a good bit, but couldn't find anything against it, so... If there is, please tell me. Kudos welcome! Disclaimer: This page was removed from the Suggestions Forum, so I have created this new page in the hopes that Mevans will be aided in his epic quest.
Hunting, Elven Wolf-hounds, Warlords, and Raids!
Hunting – Wolves are nice, but kind of a liability. If there is Warg armor, then there should be wolf armor. For hunting, killing animals is rather tedious. So is farming, with the latter even more so. Wolves are rather obsolete because of hired troops, and so to even it out there should be a screen pop-up when you SHIFT right-click them. On this pop-up menu, you will either be able to Equip your wolves with armor, or put them in Hunt mode. Or both. While hunting, they have Speed 0.75 buff, and when they kill an animal with meat drops, they will come back to you and throw it as a dropped item for you to pick up or leave. Standing on hoppers would be lovely for this. If they are at twelve or lower health and not engaged in combat, they will run off and kill and animal, but it will only restore four health points, though they will do it twice, bringing them possibly all the way up to 18 health points, which may or may not save you the trouble of feeding them.
Elven Wolf-hounds – These might not work out, but based on Huan, they will work just like Wargs but not ridable unless your total health is at 40% or lower, so they can retain their dignity, and to even it out with evil players. They can be hired from either High Elven Lords or Galadhrim Lords. Their armor should (maybe) be uncraftable, and if so, can only be bought by merchants and traders. If you have enough alignment, you can hire Armoured Elven Wolf-Hounds.
Warlords – Warlords should spawn when you try to kill an NPC you hire troops from, e.g. Ranger of the North Captain. They will be a regular troop but with an extra ten health and a Strength I buff. They will not run away from you even if you have 1000- alignment with them. Whenever they come within five blocks of another NPC of their Faction, that troop will follow and aid them in your death, with an added “Warlord buff,” making them not run away even if you have 1000- alignment with them. They may only have fifteen of these “Raiders” following them (sixteen total including the Warlord), evening out the playing field. If the Warlord does not assume “control” any more troops for five minutes, and he does not have all sixteen, he/she will spawn one in, along with their “Warlord buff.”
Raids – Raids should happen around an enemy invasion. Three or four Raids will spawn, each with 7-8 troops with the Warlord buff. These raids will also randomly spawn around a player with 50- alignment with whatever faction’s land they are travelling through, giving players a relatively more difficult time going for loot and stuff. And anyway, why would the king of a faction not kill an orc champion travelling through his/her land? Perfectly canon. (Not sure how this will end up working out with Gundabad)
