There is source code that you can't see in the visual editor. So yes, you did delete a bunch of recipes.
For future reference, the /Recipes pages are used to store the code for recipes. This is done to avoid duplicate recipes.
Why are duplicate recipes bad? Well, most recipes have two or three pages where they are used on the wiki. If an update changes recipes, then we only have to change the one page where the recipe is stored rather than two or three pages. If we had to change multiple pages, one or more would likely be forgotten and that page would then provide outdated information that conflicts with the page that had been updated.
In addition to avoiding duplicate recipes, it also allows us to easily put the recipe anywhere on the wiki where it is needed and it will be updated automatically if the code for it is changed. For example, lets say a user posts a comment on a page asking how to craft a gondorian sword. I can type
and it will go to the Sword/Recipes page and fetch the code for the recipe marked gondorian which will then be displayed like this:
You uploaded three images on October 9th, the date of my first post, and another of the Hobbit Shirriff Chief yesterday. The answer would be no, you're not allowed to upload duplicate images, for the simple reason of it is completely unnecessary. Just use the image that already exists.
has been compromised by someone who created multiple accounts only to give that thread kudo's in order to get it endorsed. We do not allow nor tolerate this and therefore I closed the thread and the kudo-accounts will all face an IP ban. You have the possibility to repost your original thread.
If you yourself are not responsible for the fake kudo-accounts, we are sorry for the inconvencience, but we cannot remove kudo's nor can we get much more information on accounts to verify their relationship with you, the original poster of ther thread. Consequently our best option is to close a compromised thread, ban all identified false accounts, and offer the original poster to repost their suggestion thread.
We hope you understand this and wish you good luck upon reposting your suggestion.
