@Both of you - There's plenty of tutorials online, I'm sure that Thrush could figure it out if Lys provides the right textures, including 3D textures for both armour sets... :/. DM me on discord if you run in to any problems.
I already have a few people helping with textures, but would appreciate any extra help I could get. If so, thanks! If not, oh well. Like I said, I have other assistants/helpers/minions. (Ithilion and Lazuli) >:D
I'm afraid to say I've made very little progress. I've had some serious study to attend to, and as I intend to go into medical school at uni, I need to get good grades. I'll work on them, but be very patient.
G'day Lysurus, sorry to bother you, but I have a question. So, I tried to make an isometric image for the Rivendell Smith, but I feel like it came out with a bit less quality (more pixelated) than your images, like on the Ranger of the North and Wood-elf Smith pages. Do you have any suggestions as to what I should do? Thanks in advance.
There are a couple of things you can do to increase resolution. (I think our standard is somewhere in the 600x800 range).
Mineshot allows you to take incredibly large screenshots (larger than the resolution of your screen). I don't remember how to do it, but the function key that is bound to that function should be in your controls menu.
Use mineshot to zoom in all the way on the mob too. That will help.
In all likelyhood, your screen is just not as high res as Lys's, so you need to take larger shots to accommodate that.
Hi Lysurus, multiple people of the community recommended I contacted you and the reason I am doing so is because the FA server is under re-construction and we're in need of new textures. Frankly the majority of the greatest texturers I know of in our community have gone inactive, meaning proper textures aren't easy to get hold on.
I am therefore asking you whether you would be willing to produce a few textures for the First Age project? It is of course only if you have the time and feel like it, but it never hurts to ask.
Certainly. However, I'm a bit swamped in assessment at the moment (which is why I am less active than usual now), so you may have to be patient. Feel free to let me know what textures you want now though.
It takes a bit of fenagling. What Catfish meant was that a logarithm is the inverse of an exponential function, a way to solve it. Think about bx=y, and then think about the inverse (where x and y are switched): by=x. How do you solve for y? Logs are the way people came up with to do so.
