“ | All that host was clad in sable, dark as the night. Against the wan walls and the luminous pavement of the road Frodo could see them, small black figures in rank upon rank, marching swiftly and silently, passing outwards in an endless stream. Before them went a great cavalry of horsemen moving like ordered shadows, and at their head was one greater than all the rest: a Rider, all black, save that on his hooded head he had a helm like a crown that flickered with a perilous light. | ” |

Morgul Armour is a type of armour worn by the Nazgûl and their servants. The lords of Minas Morgul prefer this armour for its sorcerous properties, which destroy the blades of attackers.
Morgul Armour provides 15 () protection, like vanilla iron armour, but it has much more durability. Additionally, it damages the weapons of attackers, taking out 10% of any weapon's durability at a time.
The set (especially the helm) resembles the armour of the Witch-King of Angmar, as depicted in Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings movie trilogy.
At one point, this armour was worn by Angmar Orc Warriors, which were removed in Public Beta 24.
Upon equipping a full set of Morgul Armour, the player gets the achievement "Witch-king".
Crafting[]
Morgul Armour is made with Morgul Steel, a greenish alloy of Orc Steel and Gulduril made in an Orc Forge. It is crafted like all other armour sets, and can be made on the Angmar, Morgul, or Dol Guldur crafting tables.

Durability Effect[]
When a player attacks a player or NPC wearing Morgul armour, the durability of the attacker's weapon is decreased by 10% of the remaining durability. This makes this armour particularly effective against full durability weapons, as it takes only 3 hits for the attacker's weapon to lose over a quarter of its durability.
(Note: This doesn't affect the durability of NPC weapons, since they will not lose durability upon striking an opponent. This includes weapons given to a hired NPC by the player.)
