The Morgul blade is a type of long knife used by the Nazgûl and their servants. It is a special sword that deals +6.5 attack damage, but also inflicts the wither effect to all entities that are hit for a short period, at one time it also damaged their equipment, however this was removed in pre-Update Beta 24. Pre-nerf it was one of the most powerful weapons in the mod.
Once, the Morgul Blade was wielded by Angmar Orc Warriors, but they were removed in Public Beta 24.
Crafting[]
Morgul Blades are made of Morgul steel, an alloy of Orc Steel and Gulduril. They are crafted like swords, with two Morgul Steel ingots and a stick on a Morgul, Angmar, or Dol Guldur crafting table.
Lore[]
Morgul Blades were short-swords used by the Nazgûl and their servants. If one was stabbed by this blade, a shard of it would work its way through one's body into one's heart. If the victim was not soon cured, they would become a wraith. After the blade tasted flesh, it would disintegrate. The Witch-King of Angmar stabbed Frodo with one of these on Weathertop.
