A reed basket is a storage container added in Public Beta 29 . It can be found at Dunlending campfires and in Half-troll , Morwaith , and Southron structures. It looks like something in between a noteblock and a reed block, but with a circle on top and makes a chest sound when opened.
As of Update 34 , Reed Baskets may also be found in Taurethrim structures.
Crafting [ ] It is crafted on a normal crafting table with eight dried reeds similar to a chest.

Uses [ ] A reed basket can be broken with bare hands but alternatively can be destroyed with an axe. It cannot be joined to a second one, to make a large reed basket.
