History of Middle-earth is a Minecraft server using the LOTR mod.
Bringing new things to Middle-earth
On top of the LOTR mod, we use our very own custom modpack . It adds a lot of content to the already amazing experience of the LOTR mod. For example, there are new factions like Arnor and Wicked Dwarves. We have also added new subfactions like the Moriquendi, Firebeards, Minas Morgul and Arvedui Dwarves. There are also lots of quality of life updates like the mining and wood cutting skills which give useful abilities.
Wars and Conquest
We have a special claiming system, which divides the map of Middle-earth into territories that factions can own. This

allows you to claim more land and go to war with other factions to take theirs. On our website is a map listed with all the territories and which factions own them. Factions can ally with each other and have epic wars to see who proves to be the strongest.

Our server has a fairly vanilla experience in terms of the LOTR mod. KeepInventory is off and tpa is not a thing. However there is a gravestone mod to prevent stuff from despawning and fast travel cooldown is lowered to 20 minutes.
