Status Effect

In the Lord of the Rings Minecraft Mod, there are several kinds of Status Effects that the Player may be subject to during gameplay. Some of these are beneficial, whereas others can greatly impede the Player's ability to survive.

The effects of each status effect can be found here.

Note that we have only listed the Status Effects that players may encounter when living in Middle-Earth.

Poison	Drinking any Ent Draught with a negative Fangorn alignment	Getting attacked by an NPC/player wielding a poisoned dagger. Getting attacked by a green Mirkwood Spider, Desert Scorpion, Jungle Scorpion, Mirk-troll, or Mordor Spider. Getting shot by an orc archer (~25% chance). Eating a poisonous potato or Pufferfish. Eating a Morgul-shroom with negative Mordor alignment.	Ent Draught won't inflict the Poison status effect if the player's Fangorn alignment is good, just as Morgul-shrooms won't inflict Poison if the player's Mordor alignment is good. Elves, Huorns, and Ents are immune to poison.
Poisoned Drink	Drinking a poisoned drink or a Bottle of Poison	None	This acts much faster than regular poison and can actually kill the player.
