String can be used to make bows, crossbows, hithlain, slings, Half-troll Armour, wool and more! It can also be sold to various traders, such as oddment collectors.

String can be obtained a number of ways. All three types of spiders drop it, it can be grown from flax, found in caves in the form of cobwebs, and found in some chests.
