Taurethrim armour is used by the mighty warriors of the jungle. There are three different helmets and two types of the other armour pieces.
Upon equipping full Taurethrim armour (not the golden variant), the player earns the achievement "Jungle Warrior". You can also use the chieftain helmet for that.
Regular Taurethrim Armour[]
The regular variant is worn by blowgunners and warriors. Chieftains use it as well, but with a special flowered helmet.
Golden Taurethrim Armour[]
The ancient and original armour of the Taurethrim, this gilded version is very ornate and is decorated with tusks, reeds, and flowers. This armour is not craftable. It can only be found in pyramids as loot. It can be repaired on an anvil with gold ingots once found. The golden armour grants 2 (
) more armour points than the regular one. In addition, it grants more style points - it may not save you from enemies, but you can still lord it over your friends!
Equipping a full set of Golden Taurethrim Armour will grant the player the achievement "Blood-Kings' Hoard", a reference to the last rulers of the ancient Taurethrim Empire.
Crafting[]
Only the regular variant can be crafted using bronze in the armour patterns on a Taurethrim crafting table. It has the same defense as iron armour. Please click the blue marked [Expand] field to display.
To create a chieftain helmet, simply put a Flame of Harad above an undamaged helmet. That way, everyone will know your sense of flower style!
