Adding more colourful and cheerful elements to the gameplay environment in Dorwinion.
Providing fitting mounts to the people of Dorwinion.
Proposal
Add a new tameable and mountable animal mob called 'Pityarocconya' (in auld Quenya, or 'Pînrochnîn' in modern Sindarin). These are basically little horses and use the same model as the Shire Pony. Their health is similar, but they move 25-50 % faster and jump twice as high.
Pityarocconya only spawn in Dorwinion alongside of normal Rhunic horses. They are a rare sight and only one in ten horse herds is Pityarocconya. Their occurence in the Emyn Winion is about twice as high.
The Pityarocconya base colour is white, but they can be dyed like sheep in any colour available. This requires Dorwinion alignment of +100 and costs 5 experience orb levels. The colouring is irreversible.
Pityarocconya cannot wear normal armour, but they can wear a special jumpsuit which makes them jump even higher: +50%! The jumpsuit can be crafted on a Dorwinion CT using 5 wool blocks in a U shape and one leather in the center. Jumpsuit crafting requires +250 Dorwinion alignment and 15 experience orb levels. The jumpsuits can be made of any combination of coloured wool, but the resulting texture is always the same: Dorwinion off-white with pink trimming.
Pityarocconya heal when fed wheat, apples or grapes. When feeding them grapes, they get drunk and tend to behave like they feel they have super powers resulting in random jumping and running around.
Pityarocconya can be bred by feeding sugar to two adult, tamed individual animals. This requires a Dorwinion alignment of +100. Like sheep in Vanilla Minecraft, breeding with two differently coloured units results in baby Pityarocconya with the colour of either of one of the parents, or a mix colour.
Alternative
As an alternative, It may be worthwhile considering to replace the pink trimmed pyjamas of the Dorwinion commoners with clothing that may befit a medieval based and styled agrarian culture.
It does not make sence that Pityarocconya gets drunk eating grapes as you would need fremented grapes and large numbers of them to make an animal the size of a pony get drunk
Why it isn't in Sindarin? Quenya as the Elven-Latin is hardly ever used in daily life. Besides, The name of "Dorwinion" is Sindarized, and its elves are Nandor ruled by Sindarin kings. To be honest, they really have nothing to do with Quenya.
@Great A'Tuin:
The notion just popped up while travelling through Dorwinion last night. The pyjama commoners just made me think of My Little Pony ... and then it went pretty fast. No sarcasm, just hilariousness. In 5 minutes all that's in that post crystallised out in my head. Even though I can't surpress that annoying 'My Little Pony' tune from my head as soon as the image of the pyjamas passes by, I still find this notion highly amusing. ;)
@Lego:
No worries mate.
@Wargaz: Nitpicker. Just couldn't get the ^ on the i's in Sindarin 'Pinrochnin' ... as I was using my smartphone, as I am now. You may call them Pinrochnin if you please. :P
I get it, except this thread is on the suggestions forum board, which is for serious suggestions. Anything here should either be treated as such or moved away from it.
I am afraid I am not fond of these Pityarocconya as they seem to lack a canonically correct basis. However, I do agree that the folk of Dorwinion are in need of a mount of some sort. However, my rather simpler proposal on the matter, would be the implementation of a 'Dorwinion Pony' which would not posses the somewhat un-realistic abilities of the creature described which has been described above, and would simply function in the same manner as a Shire Pony.
Additionally, I am most certainly in favour of altering the current clothing of the Dorwinrim, as I agree the 'pyjamas' they currently sport are un-fitting.

The suggestion was a joke, WargPi. It's supposed to be suggesting My Little Ponies for the pyjama-wearing Dorwinrim.
Heh ... I sometimes use peculiar ways to wrap up my messages. This has turned out to be quite an interesting experimental way of conveying a notion. Hope you all enjoy it, some way or another. :)

Stay on topic please. If you agree with either the main proposal or the alternative, leave a kudo. If you wish to bring forward new realizations / arguments, be my guest, but refrain from too much diversion.

Sorry, maybe my tone is wrong. Please change it, and I don't mean to be picky or find fault with your idea... I just concern the mod, thinking that I really don't want to see a vision of a fine tuned music just ruined by a note, which is a name... It happened before, several times, but your idea isn't added to the mod yet, so you have the power to prevent that happen now. I don't have the voice of Saruman, and my tongue may be coarse. However, I truly mean no harm, and all I want is understanding. By the way, I don't play the mod in English a lot, and I have the power to power to prevent it happens to my language, too, so I am really thinking for other English players, and it's good for you.

I understand Wargaz. But I'm not gonna change the quenya. I reckon that if ever the mod team would seriously consider to implement (part of) the main notion of my first post, they'll certainly use Sindarin, and that is mentioned anyway.
Now, which garments do we want these commoners to wear while doing their daily business?
