So, here is a list of blocks I think would be good to add some aesthetic appearances to Middle Earth.
- Palantíri - These would only be obtainable in Creative mode. Although they probably have a planned function in the future, for now they'd just be decorative. Maybe make them spherical (but out of tiny little blocks) and maybe give them an animation.
- Stone Coffins - What I am specifically thinking of is sort of like the coffin that the Kings of Gondor were buried in (it kind of had the body sculpted into the stone and they had the sword resting on their stomachs). This could be crafted somehow, and it could maybe be made specifically into a King's coffin by adding gold into the recipie (it would give the stone man a stone crown).
- Gulduril Bricks - Although I think the current Gulduril blocks look great, I've never been fully happy with them. They only ever render when you are close to them (yes, I know this may not be changeable), and the glowing textures never connect to the Gulduril textures of other blocks. Maybe this could be changed somehow?
- Statues - Bsically the same general idea as the stone coffins.
- Furniture - Yes, I know this is already planned. I just personally think this should really be in the mod. I mean, I'm really tired of using stairs as chairs and blocks/slabs/stairs as tables. I honestly think the time has come for furniture to be added.
Let me know what you guys think! Also let me know what other decorative blocks would be cool!
