In real life, different weapons don't just do different Damage and have different speeds and lengths, but they also have different uses. A Warhammer for example hits an armored opponent harder and a sword is more proficient against an unarmored foe. I don't know if something like this would be possible to add to the mod but it would certainly give a lot more depth to the system, for example, you and your army want to invade the dundledings, who, mostly use light armor so you take a sword and slice them into pieces, then you decide to move further to Isengard or similar and suddenly your weapons don't do much damage at all and you need maces, axes or Warhammer to crush through the opponent's armor. So maybe every Faction should get some kind of a heavy weapon this can be a halberd or glaive for the elves. As for the Armored- unarmored mechanics would it be possible to add a higher chance of the weapon like the hammer completely or partially ignoring the armor or the opponent and doing the weapons base damage which means that if you have a legendary mithril mace and the opponent has iron armor it will do around its full damage if the opponent doesn't have armor tho or is only wearing light armor like a dundleding the weapon will have a chance of just doing a part of the base damage. With swords the situation is already quite good as you might see that a full blow with a sword against plate armor from the late medieval time does nearly no damage at all, this is, already pretty realistic. But this would add a whole additional desire, as it would really help to be able to choose the weapon your Solider will have right in the hiring GUI. This would be very helpful on servers as there are often big wars between the factions and you would actually have to think about how you want to fight and how you could get the advantage.
