Looking in the code of some mods, as well as [http://stackoverflow.com/questions/18580370/how-do-i-add-a-method-to-a-source-file-without-editing-the-source-file this answer] I found, suggest that it is. Edit: I've looked at some other mods, TerraFirmaCraft being particularly helpful, and found out how to do this. But I can't get the coremod to load in Eclipse yet.
