My renditions of the Tauredain and Jungle lore:
Jungle Lore[]
The Far Harad Jungle Was once a desolate and barren savvanah, around the First and second ages. Then, the gargantuan volcano in the north erupted, spewing ash and chunks of rock across the area (this is the volcano biome on the map, FYI). This fertilized it. Within 1,000 years, the jungle had formed, with patches of volcanic rock in grain form (explaining the obsidian gravel)
Tauredain Lore[]
The Tauredain had devolved from the one tribe that was born in the harads when men were born in middle-earth. They had seperated and the founding mothers and fathers settled in the closest lands-the swaps. They lived solely off of crocodile meat and bugs and had become nomads. Eventually, they had becoem uncontent with their surroundings...
Eventually, areound the end of the second age, they had been trudging across Harad for around 3 decades. Eventually, they found the Jungle. Stunned by it's natural beauty and resources, they settled there. This sparked the golden age for the Tauredain, and their rapid acension to Empire came within a centiury of and claiming the jungle. Soon, out of dominance, they attacked the weakest link of the other tribes: The nomads of the mangroves, the Liwmaith
They sent troops to the mangroves, thinking the Limwaith would be an easy target, but they were mistaken. The limwaith fougth hard and knew the terrain better than the Tauredain. Seeing the Tauredain had been weakening every since they launched thei invasion, the Moredain launched a major offensive to the Tauredain capital: Toldaire, in the lands of the far south, near the bushlands. The Cerinrim had aided the Tauredain but their numbers were too great. They ovveran the city and destroyed the Golden Pyramid (The jungle was full of gold).
Soon, the Moredain Started to attack the other Tauredain cities. They destroyed everything. In a last attempt to save the sacred Tauredain artifacts, the Shamans locked up everything in the pyramids at the center of every city. They shamans cast spells to lock up the Tauredain population with food and water and resources inside these pyramids. The moredain stopped their offensice once every pyramid was destroyed.
1,000 years (approx.) after the Great Downfall, the great Pyramid doors were released. The Tauredain flooded the jungles and clearings, usually building their villages and towns near ruins of the old cities and pyramids. Now it is the 3000s of teh third age, and the Tauredain golden age is about to begin...
