Utumno Obsidian Wargs are Wargs that spawn on the second level of Utumno, which is the obsidian level. They have a dark purple tint with orange and light purple scars.
Behavior[]
These Wargs cannot be tamed, armored, or ridden, due to the fact that players will always have a negative alignment with the Utumno faction. More importantly, this means this Warg will always try to attack the player, along with all other Utumno mobs.
These Wargs will also attack any non-Utumno NPCs on sight, good and evil alike, since they are mortal enemies with every faction aside from their own. This includes those belonging to the invisible "hostile" faction such as Dark Huorns, Wraiths and Barrow-wights, even though it's next to impossible for these to ever meet in survival mode.
Unlike the other two floor-exclusive Utumno creatures, Obsidian Wargs do not give the player any particular status effect.
Drops[]
An obsidian Wargskin rug.
These creatures drop Warg bones, fur, and sometimes their Wargskin rugs when killed. They also have a chance of dropping pieces of an obsidian key.
