Wood-elven scout armour is the armour used by scouts, making them nimble on their feet and swift in combat. It is dark green in colour, with darker patches of browns.
Once you equip an entire set of Wood-elven scout armour, you earn the achievement "Camouflaged".
Magic[]
The relative low protection of only 9 (
) armour points is more than made up by the permanent speed boost (Speed II) granted while equipped, although you must have the entire suit of armour on, otherwise no bonus will be given.
When wearing a full suit of this armour, you will be able to sprint at about 7.5 meters/second, or about 27 km/h. This speed is significantly faster than regular sprinting, which works out to around 5.6 meters/second (20.2 km/h), but it still falls short of the speed of most mounts (an average horse runs at 9.7 meters/second, or about 35 km/h).
Obtaining[]
The armour can be found on armour stands at the top of Wood-elven towers. There is also a chance for scouts to drop them when killed.
Crafting[]
The armour is made with leather in the normal armour pattern on a Wood-elven crafting table, giving overall a slightly better protection than a vanilla leather armour. Please click the blue marked [Expand] field to display.
